Welcome to the Berlin Pop Choir!

In Berlin’s first community choir no audition and no experience are necessary – it’s all about having fun singing together.

A community choir is open to everybody, no matter what their experience and ability. In the Berlin Pop Choir you are free to choose if you want to be a one-time visitor or become a long-term member, no subscription is necessary.

What started with 5 people in a living room has now grown into around a 100 enthusiasts on any one night. Since June 2010 the Berlin Pop Choir has found a home at the fantastic Monster Ronson’s Ichiban Karaoke Warschauer Straße 34, Berlin. The choir meets here on Tuesdays from 19.30 – 21.00 for 10 week courses. The lessons are held in English with a little German thrown in and translation is always available.

The repertoire ranges around the world of rock and pop from Charli XCX to Anna Calvi, from Joy Division to Kraftwerk, Abba and Miley Cyrus. All the songs are custom arranged and taught by Lyndsey Cockwell. The choir performs at the end of each course and all our friends, partners and families are invited.

The Berlin Pop Ensemble is the more advanced, committed version of the BPC, meeting on Wednesdays from 19.30 – 21.00. You can find out all about it at http://wp.me/P20OeC-D1 and read FAQs at http://wp.me/P20OeC-CT

Berlin Pop Choir Director Lyndsey Cockwell can bring the Berlin Pop Choir experience to your team building days or tailor a workshop to your needs. German or English spoken. Just email info@berlinpopchoir.de for more info.
